Golden Breed's Floyd, El Solito and El Shorto are walkshort styles, while the boardie range is built for the water.

What is a cord short?

A cord short is a short made from corduroy, a soft, ribbed, textured cotton fabric with a vintage look. Golden Breed's Floyd, Hercules and Panama cord shorts use this fabric for a relaxed, retro everyday short that's warmer and more textured than a standard cotton short.

Are Golden Breed boardshorts quick-drying?

What's the difference between El Solito and El Shorto Walkshorts?

The only real difference between the El Solito and El Shorto walkshorts is the length: the El Shorto is the shorter style with an 18.5cm inseam that sits above the knee, while the El Solito is 10cm longer with a 28.5cm inseam that sits on or around the knee. Everything else is the same - both are relaxed-fit walkshorts in chunky cotton cord, with an elastic waist, internal drawcord, and side and back pockets. Choose the El Shorto for a shorter, above-the-knee look and the El Solito for more leg coverage.

What's the difference between an elastic waist and a structured waist?

An elastic waist uses a stretch waistband (with an internal drawcord) that pulls on and adjusts for a relaxed, forgiving fit, while a structured waist has a fixed waistband that fastens for a more tailored, secure fit.
